Static residential proxies:
one fixed IP, yours alone

Roam's static residential product rents you a dedicated static IP — one address, one user, for as long as you keep the rental. It's built for work that hates IP changes: account logins, seller storefronts, long-lived sessions. From $4/IP per month, delivered instantly from live stock, billed from the same never-expiring wallet as our rotating proxies.

TL;DR: $4/IP/month for most locations (Hong Kong/Japan/South Korea/Indonesia $6, Singapore $9). One user per IP · HTTP & SOCKS5 · instant delivery · optional auto-renew.

Static vs rotating: which one do you need?

Exclusive useYes — one user per IPShared pool
Best forLogins, storefronts, account workScraping, monitoring, geo-testing

Rule of thumb: if the target site remembers you (accounts, carts, dashboards), go static; if you need many different addresses (scraping, price monitoring), rotating is cheaper per request. Both products run from one wallet, so you can mix them freely.

What is a static residential proxy?

A static residential proxy is a proxy with one fixed IP address, rented to a single user and priced per IP per month rather than per GB. The address does not rotate — for the whole rental, every request you make exits from the same IP, until you stop renewing.

At Roam every static IP is dedicated: nobody else uses the address while your rental is active. You connect over standard HTTP/HTTPS or SOCKS5 with the IP:port:user:pass credentials shown in your dashboard — the format antidetect browsers and most tools expect out of the box.

What static IPs are good at

Account management

Pin each account to its own stable address. A login environment that never changes triggers fewer "unusual sign-in" checks.

E-commerce storefronts

Your store dashboard sees the same IP every day. Pair one IP per store in an antidetect browser to keep storefronts cleanly separated.

Long-lived sessions

Sessions, carts and API tokens can safely live for weeks — the exit address never changes, so state never gets invalidated by rotation.

FAQ

What is a static residential proxy?

A static residential proxy is a proxy with one fixed IP address rented to a single user and priced per IP per month rather than per GB. The address does not rotate: every request exits from the same IP for as long as the rental is active. That makes it the right tool for work that distrusts IP changes — account logins, seller storefronts and long-lived sessions.

What is the difference between static and rotating residential proxies?

A rotating residential proxy gives you a different exit IP from a shared pool for each session or request and is billed per GB ($2/GB at Roam). A static residential proxy is one dedicated address that only you use, billed per IP per month (from $4 at Roam). Rule of thumb: if the target site remembers you — accounts, carts, dashboards — go static; if you need many different addresses for scraping or monitoring, rotating is cheaper.

How much do static residential proxies cost?

At Roam most locations are $4 per IP per month. Premium Asian locations — Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia — are $6/IP, and Singapore is $9/IP. You pay per IP, not per GB, from the same wallet used for rotating proxies. Rental periods are prepaid and non-refundable, so start with one IP and scale once it fits.

Do I keep the same IP address?

Yes. The IP is assigned exclusively to you and stays the same for as long as you keep renewing the rental. Turn on auto-renew in the dashboard if the address matters to you — when a rental expires, the IP is released and may not be available again.

How do I connect to a static IP?

Each static IP comes with credentials in IP:port:user:pass format, shown in your dashboard right after purchase. It works over standard HTTP/HTTPS and SOCKS5 — the format antidetect browsers, e-commerce tools and scrapers expect. No client app is needed.
