Roam Proxy browser extension

In short: install the extension, sign in to your Roam account, pick a country, turn the proxy on. Your browser now exits through a residential or datacenter IP in that country. Turn it off and you are back on your normal connection. No manual proxy settings, no username to build by hand.
What it does
- Product line. Choose Residential ($2/GB) or Datacenter ($0.8/GB). Both bill from the same wallet.
- Country. Pick the exit country from the list. The change applies to the next request.
- IP mode. Fixed IP keeps the same exit for the whole session, which is what a browser normally wants. Auto-rotate gives a different exit on every request.
- New IP. In fixed mode, one click tests four fresh routes in parallel and keeps the fastest.
- Route preview. Test a country's latency before you turn the proxy on.
- Current exit IP. One button confirms what the target site sees.
- Off switch. Turn the proxy off and the browser goes straight back to your direct connection.
The extension uses the same gateway and the same credentials as a manual proxy setup. It only saves you the part where you build usernames and edit settings by hand.

The first screen of the popup offers these in order. Any one of them is enough.
Where to find your API token
- Log in to the member dashboard.
- Open Residential (rotating) in the left menu.
- Switch to the API / code tab. Your token is shown at the top with a copy button.
You can also paste the whole extraction link from that tab. The extension picks the token out of it. The token is tied to your account: keep it private, and reset it from the same tab if it ever leaks.

FAQ
I changed the country but sites still show the old IP.
Browsers keep proxy connections open and reuse them. The extension works around this by giving every settings change a fresh gateway hostname, so a new country takes effect on the next request. If a page still shows the old exit, reload it once, or use the Check button in the popup to confirm the current exit IP.
How is this different from setting the proxy manually in the browser?
Same gateway, same credentials, same billing. The difference is convenience: a manual setup is one fixed username, so changing country or session means editing it again. The extension builds the username for you, switches countries in one click, picks the fastest of four routes when you ask for a new IP, and turns off in one click so the browser goes back to your normal connection.
Does the extension cost anything?
The extension is free. Traffic that goes through it is billed to your Roam wallet at the normal rate for the product line you pick: $2/GB for rotating residential and $0.8/GB for rotating datacenter. No subscription and no minimum. New accounts get 50MB of trial traffic after email verification.
What does the extension store, and where?
Only your API token and the proxy settings you choose, in the browser's local extension storage. It does not read page content, does not track browsing, and does not send anything to third parties. Your browser traffic goes to the Roam gateway exactly as it would with a manual proxy setup. Signing out deletes the stored token.
