Last updated: 27 October 2026 · Everything below reflects the rules currently enforced in the member dashboard
Roam is a pay-as-you-go proxy network. Every new account gets a small amount of real traffic to test your actual targets on real residential exits before you decide to top up. No credit card, no plan, no expiring balance.

What you get
| When | What |
|---|---|
| After email verification | 50 MB of residential traffic, claimed with one click on the dashboard, credited to your wallet |
| On your first top-up (from $2) | 250 MB more, credited automatically; your first top-up itself also gets a +50% bonus, once |
That is 300 MB of trial traffic in total. The 50 MB shows up as about $0.10 of wallet balance, because the wallet is dollar-denominated and shared by every product: residential $2/GB, datacenter $0.80/GB, 4G/5G mobile $9/GB, each billed at its own rate.
Three steps
- Sign up with an email address or a Google account (the sign-up page has a human check).
- Click the link in the verification email; Google sign-ups are already verified.
- On the Overview page click Claim free trial, then Test my connection: the dashboard shows the exit IP, country and carrier it got through a real residential exit.
From there, use the same username and password in any HTTP/SOCKS5-capable tool, or install the browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) for one-click switching.
What to test with 50 MB
- Whether your target lets you through: a few loads of the login page, a search results page, a product page.
- Exit geography: switch
-country-,-state-,-city-and check where the IP lands; city targeting is best-effort, so verify with two geolocation databases. - Sticky sessions: add
-session-xxxto keep one IP, and-sesstime-Nfor 10 to 120 minutes. - Latency and success rate: 50 MB covers a few hundred ordinary page requests, not video or large downloads.
The rules, stated up front
- One trial per person, verified email only. Bulk sign-ups, disposable mailboxes and automated registrations do not receive it; this is enforced automatically.
- Trial credit is a gift: it cannot be refunded or withdrawn.
- Refund conditions for paid top-ups are in the refund policy: first top-up only, within 24 hours, under 100 MB used, and only for a fault on our side; cryptocurrency top-ups are not refundable.
- We do not restrict accounts by the sites they visit, but the terms of service prohibit abuse such as attacks and fraud.
FAQ
Do I need a credit card for the free trial?
No. Sign up with an email address or a Google account, verify the email, and claim the 50 MB trial from the dashboard. No card, no payment details.
How much free traffic do I get?
50 MB of residential proxy traffic right after email verification, credited to your wallet as balance. A further 250 MB is credited automatically on your first top-up (from $2), so the full trial is 300 MB. Your first top-up also gets a +50% bonus.
Can I use the trial on datacenter or mobile proxies too?
Yes. The trial is credited as wallet balance, and every product draws from the same wallet at its own rate: residential $2/GB, datacenter $0.80/GB, 4G/5G mobile $9/GB. The 50 MB figure is the residential equivalent.
Does the trial balance expire?
No. Roam balance never expires, including trial credit. Use it today or next month.
Why didn't I receive the trial?
The trial is one per person and only for accounts with a verified email. Accounts created in bulk, with disposable mailboxes, or from automated sign-ups do not receive it. If you believe yours was withheld in error, open a ticket from the dashboard.
